What Is the Niagara Falls Evening Tour With Boat Cruise?
Quick answer
A 10–11 hour trip from Toronto that saves the best for after sunset: hotel pickup, the Niagara City Cruises boat ride, a winery tasting, then Horseshoe Falls lit in shifting colour — with fireworks over the gorge on scheduled nights. $285 per person.
Most visitors only ever see Niagara by day. This tour flips the schedule so you get both — the full daytime circuit, then the moment the floodlights switch on and the mist itself starts to glow. It’s the most photographed version of the Falls, and the one guests talk about longest.

Questions About This Tour
Are fireworks guaranteed on the evening tour?
Fireworks follow a seasonal calendar — typically nightly in peak summer and on select spring and autumn evenings — and they’re weather-dependent. The colour illumination of the Falls, though, runs every single night of the year, so the after-dark finale always happens.
What time do I get back to my hotel?
Because the tour stays for the illumination, you’ll arrive back at your pickup point around 11:30 PM to midnight depending on season and traffic. Plan for a late, very satisfying night.
Is dinner included?
Dinner is on your own during the evening free time — your guide will point you to the best options — or you can pre-book the Sheraton Fallsview dinner buffet add-on and have it settled in advance.
Is this tour good for photographers?
It’s the best one we run for photos: golden hour on the Parkway, the boat cruise, then long-exposure territory once the lights come on. Bring a tripod or brace on the Queen Victoria Park railings.
Our flagship day out: Toronto hotel pickup, the boat ride to the base of Horseshoe Falls, an ice-wine tasting and every Parkway photo stop worth making.
